GIF and PNG tutorials.

Hi! Kinyonga asked me to post about how to make a GIF and how to save an image as a PNG.
How to make a GIF:
1. Think about a short video you want to make. (about 30 seconds) for example:
2. Open screencast o matic. Click here to go to screencast o matic
3. Click `start recording´

                 4. Click the red button to start recording.
5. Save it as a video file.
6. And then, just save it as a GIF.
7. Save it onto your computer, and then just upload it to your blog as a normal image.
Your final GIF will look something like this:
(If you don´t want the SOM logo to be there, you have to pay to the SOM owners.)
And now for the PNG tutorial.
How to make a PNG with a Transparent Background.
1. Take a screenshot of something you want to make a graphic with. For example, I will make one with my pet owl.
2. Open the picture in Photoshop and make it big enough to fit the screen with the magnifing glass.
3. With the polygonal lazo tool (circled in red) `cut round´ your image.
4. Right click the image and click `layer via copy´.
5. Now you have to layers: One with background and one without. Just make the backgroung dissappear by cliking the little eye.
6. And now you have a backgroundless image!
7. Now just save it, but be sure to do it as a PNG.
8. And you have a picture with no background, so you can put it on your blog sidebar as a link, place it on top of other images, or just post it directly.
Hope that helped! Feel free to post comments asking for more tutorials.

So, all of you know what comments you shouldn´t do, but here´s a reminder:
1- No comments on unappropiate subjects. Remember there are jammers of all ages looking at this.
2- You can advertise your blog if you want, I have no problem with it.
3- Only visit the blog if you like it. (What is the point in visiting it otherwise?)
4-There are loads of spam comments. (Robotic, authomatic advertisements) Just ignore them, ok?
5-Sorry if I take ages to reply, I am busy and there are a lot of comments.
Also, if you don´t have a blogger profile, it would be nice if you included your username, so people know who you are.
Happy Commenting!
